Spring into Action...
Well, Spring is finally here and it's been a busy, productive month for us here.
Education Sector
Great to find out this month that my role as the lead Fashion Designer for a collaboration with Arts Connect, Communities Academy Trust and schools in Shropshire has got the go-ahead for an additional series of Taster workshops in the Summer Term, along with CPD sessions which will be delivered to Teachers, Arts Ambassadors and staff.
Despite the curveballs, setbacks & delays along the way caused by the impact of Covid-19, I'm so looking forward to getting all dates finalised and started on this soon & grateful for the opportunities I've been fortunate to be a part of during lockdown.

Health & Fitness
As an Ambassador for Niix Fit, Mach was the ideal month to to take part in the 4-week Full Body Fix 4-week programme - a mixture of live (online) and on-demand classes.
Introducing barre classes, pilates and others I'm less familiar with was good to get me out of my comfort zone and an interesting contrast to my usual go-to/preference for high impact Hiit classes.

Charity
I hope to support a selection of charities as much as I can in different ways this year.
I decided to join a small team to support the Rainy Day Trust for their fundraising event this month. The target - 1, 000 000 steps between us during March! I decided to up the ante and also started the #Couchto5K programme to finally start my long-promised personal challenge to myself to start (& enjoy!) running.
With the rollout of our lifestyle brand into the Homeware sector, this was an ideal opportunity to show our support to a local charity & start linking the key areas of design with good causes/charities so we can play if even just a small a small part in fundraising.
Proud to report we smashed out steps challenge between us & I plan to continue withthe runing programme as it was good to get outdoors in the early mornings so really hope to see further improvements with my pace & stamina!.
