Complex Simplicity
Hey guys! How are you all doing?
Can't quite believe another month has flown past but it's been a good one so that's always a bonus!
I've had to radically adapt some of my usual projects and collaborations that tend to start taking place around this time of year but change = growth & development, right?!
Workshops
It's been a privilege to be involved with the new Create and Connect initiative with Hampshire Cultural Trust. Having collaborated with them on previous projects, we had to adapt our delivery methods and overall approach & I'm pleased to share that I have almost completed my very 1st round of online Fashion/Textiles workshops with success! Woo-hoo!
Those that know me well will know how much of an achievement this is for me due to
a) Being a borderline technophobe! &
b) Much preferring to be on the other side of the camera as opposed to in front of it!
It's been great to get back to working with and inspiring young budding designers & of course there'll be room for improvement but the main thing I'm grateful for is to have been blessed with such a diverse array of commissions and projects during such a bizarre year! It's been a good opportunity for me to adapt & evolve rather than just deciding to throw in the towel and write this year off. I think we've all hopefully learnt to either accept or adapt re: the challenges this year has brought so I hope you've also been able to find some positives amongst it all in some way also.

Travel
On another note, I am definitely missing my overseas travelling. However, the opportunity to visit Scotland and see dear friends over the Bank Holiday weekend was perhaps something I might not have got around to doing if things were the same as usual. Also a chance to appreciate places that I've not yet had (or made!) the time to visit before now - every cloud/silver lining & all that!...
